This is one if the indigenous people of Philippines. They are one of the tribes collectively know as Igorot meaning people of the mountains. Kankana-eys lives in some parts of Benguet, Mt Province and Ilocos Sur.

Kankana-eys like theIfugaos carve mountains and make it rice terraces as to where they grow their agriculture

They also have their own language. Kankana-eys differ to other igorot tribes in terms of their dress. They only use three colors such as red, white and black. Likewise they are literate people and still living under their cultural heritage up to this days.
