Hello Steemit! Another original design from my Festival Design Folder! And another reminder to enter my competition about 6 days back!
Today I’ve been weeding the garden, wiping peppermint and tea tree oil throughout the dining room to stop the ants, setting up a new creative project that I’ve been working on, drinking LOTS of coffee, editing a few photos, washing my son’s cricket whites for tomorrow and also saying ‘hi!’ on Steemit. As well as resolving conflicts of all kinds between the 4 boys!
What has your day held for you? Soon I’m off to attempt to take a family photo of us using the self-timer, and then celebrating a dear friend’s birthday. Phew. And that’s only Saturday!!

I'm taking the boys squidding tonight, down at Porties.
Chips at the park then hopefully bringing home some calamari for Mum to make salt n pepper squid.
Ohhh nice!!!! The first time we went squidding we used the wrong colour jig (right word?!). We caught nothing and the man on the other side of the Jetty caught a dozen!!!!
Hoping to be the man on the other side of the jetty tonight. Fingers crossed.
Nothing. Three jags in the water for 90 mins, all came up empty :(
Oh that’s disappointing! But still fun to spend time together on a Jetty!! Not so fun if that was dinner!
I was very disappointed in the boys and left them there. If they haven't improved they're going to be real hungry by now.
Well I hope for their sakes that they have caught some squid by now! 😆
I just went and picked them up. They seemed oddly reticent to discuss squid; all they wanted to talk about was water and blankets for some reason.
