One Month of Hard Fork 20 . Are users fully aware of the changes?
We have completed one month of Hard Fork 20. Effective from 25-Sept- 2018 , The software update took the steemit with many surprises and also created a lot of ruckus among many steemit user. Many new things were introduced and users have seen many changes. Voting Power changed to Voting Mana, Bandwidth changes to Resource Credit There is now cost involved with whatever you do on Steem blockchain.

Worth reading again to make yourself familiar with the changes and adapt yourself with the Steem ecosystem. It is necessary to bring up the topic and refresh again, as many user are still not completelly familiar with the Cons of the changes.
For example : An important update that took place in HF20 was reducing the Curation time. Earlier it was 30 min but now after changes it reduced to 15 min. Still I have seen many users are not updated or adjusted in the new eco system. Reference to below screenshot, users are still voting within 15 minutes.
Within 3 min of publishing the above @qurator post worth $0.342. May be it worth more in next couple of minute. This early voting is just wasting the curation reward. The new update says that all post reward within 15 min will go back to the Steemit Reward Pool.
But still due to the auto voting and curation trail , the post keep adding some values. Users have not updated their auto voting trail timing.
It is quite necessary to keep up with the ecosystem, and not to waste your voting reward. I would simply advice to do check out and reset on the voting timing and save some Reward for Curation
In case I am not good in my understanding, I would appreciate some inputs and help me bring more insight.

Really good points mentioned @steemflow. The voting times are highly important. A few of my friends told me to set my auto-vote to about 17 minutes to ensure I don't throw away my votes.
Seems you have a good friend cir le around. That is good advice ...and it is what meant to do after hard fork 20. No voting within 15 min...after that you can proceed acordingly. You can refer the link that i shared

Sorry for the delayed responses but this actually links in with the new updates on HF20. This is the comment i wanted to put on the update until i realised i could not with such low power;
This is great news even if this is first post since update for rc. i had also seen these problems being part of the accounts with low steem. Will this have a good big affect on new accounts as i think new users can very easily be put off using steem with the long times in getting an account?
And now after the update there are pros like possibly less spamming but also cons that new users can make very few comments without investing a lot into steem like myself who is really struggling with rc power for comments and therefore might put off new users from using steemit.
It is always better to be updated with the change in steem ecosystem . i have seen so many. The recent change and lack of RC for the new user is a point of cincern but still many manages to get few delegation frim others and help to build upon their reign....good luck to you too....yoh have a valid point to succees on the platform.

Many of us are still learning the implications of the changes that came with the Hard Form as it changed a number of things as you mentioned. Although still unsure, I believe that the portion of the voting value that goes back to the Rewards Pool before 15 minutes is the curation piece which used to go only to the Author. So 75% still goes to the author while 25% will go back to the rewards pool. At least that is how I understood it. However, I now try to always vote around the 15 minute mark.

Yup, I know a bunch of people didn't know all the changes and were still doing things the old way. I still see people who haven't updated all their auto voting for the new curation times.
May be most of them are still.inactive and just dreaming of getting more curation whereas ...we need to pull them back to this universe..and introduce them with reality...just a wastage....

I was definitely not aware of this. I have all of my autovotes set at about 25 minutes. You're saying that should be at 15 minutes now? (I will admit that I am VERY lost in the grand scheme of curation, votes, hardforks, pretty much all of the technical side of things!)
No @byn you are perfectly placed with 25 min....i meant as per the new update voting should not be done within 15 min.
