To the incredulous leadership, Enki reveals a secret:
In the Abzu there roams a wild Being akin to the Anunnaki;
By augmenting its life essence with that of the Anunnaki,
It can be upgraded to be an intelligent Primitive Worker.
Creation belongs to the Father of All Beginning, Enlil shouted.
We will give our image only to an existing being, Ninmah argued.
Badly needing gold to survive, the leaders vote Yes.
Enki, Ninmah, and Ningishzidda Enki's son begin experiments.
After many failures the perfect-model Adamu is attained.
Ninmah shouts triumphantly: My hands have made it!
She is renamed Ninti ("Lady of Life") for her achievement.
Ninki, Enki's spouse, helps fashion Ti-Amat, a female Earthling.
The Earthlings, being hybrids, mate but do not procreate.
Ningishzidda adds two essence branches to their Life Tree.
Discovering the unapproved ongoings, Enlil expels the Earthlings.

This entire tablet is explaining the creation of man. Ningishzidda had learned that the primitive apes of the planet were similar to their own ancient ancestors! Although Enlil was against this because they abolished slavery on their planet many years ago and that tools are the slaves, not other beings. (although now they seem to be all for it again) Creation is meant for the Father of All, not of them! The being already existed, however, they just wanted to "upgrade" it. Enki said that they would not be slaves but helpers. Enlil brought the matter to Anu, and Anu to the council. The council decided for the plan to save Nibiru.

The Anunnaki in the mines were instructed that they must continue to work until this being is achieved. Disappointed, they returned to work ceasing their rebellion. Ninmah had shown many different types of species spliced together by her. To attempt to create this being they would first attempt to impregnate the creature with their seed in its "oval". After many failures in this way, Enki had an idea that it wasn't the mixtures or the ovals at fault, but using a Nibiru Crystal instead of Clay Earth might be the cause. Clay with gold and copper over the Niburian Crystal. Although this was almost a perfect fix, what was needed was an Anunnaki womb Enki realised. "In our image and our likeness." The boy that was born was named Adamu. Little tidbit from the tablet; they were confused by his genitalia as foreskin was not something seen on Nibiru. From toil, Adamu would be protected as he was the firstborn. For more of these workers, seven women from Ninmah's team stepped forward by their own will to bare the beings. This method would prove to take too long, so a female needed to be fashioned of the new Earthlings. She would be named Ti-Amat.

Adamu and Ti-Amat would be sent to Edin in Eridu. A garden would be made for them, but Enlil was not pleased by them at all. More down the line it came to be known that these workers couldn't procreate, so in secret, Enki, Ninmah, and Ningishzidda would take Adamu and Ti-Amat. From the rib of Enki, life essence would be extracted, to the rib of Adamu the life essence inserted. So too with Ninmah and Ti-Amat. When placed back in Edin, they soon became aware of their nakedness and were ashamed. When Enlil saw this he was not happy. The secret was out, these beings had the ability to procreate. Enlil would expel Adamu and Ti-Amat from Edin to the Abzu where they are needed. Out of the garden of Edin, but no snake or apple? Perhaps a metaphor for the "fruit" Ti-Amat was bestowed and the "snake" Adamu received.
