Reenactment of the Battle of the Vitkov Hill to take place in Prague!
Hi everyone!
History fans who will be in Prague this weekend should not miss out on the huge battle reenactment that will take place on the Vitkov Hill tomorrow (Saturday, July 14).

A part of the Hussite Wars (1419 - 1434), the Battle of the Vitkov Hill was fought between the forces of Sigismund, a Holy Roman Emperor and the Hussites who were under the command of Jan Zizka . The battle lasted for about a month - from June 12, 1420 to July 14, 1420 and although the Hussites were greatly outnumbered by their enemies, they managed to win the battle and defend Prague.

The reenactment of this memorable battle will be performed by more than 100 people dressed in historic battle costumes and armed with medieval weapons from the Hussite era. Organized by the Prague 3 Municipal Authority, the event is free of charge and it comes with interesting additional program including live shows and performances of medieval military skills.

This will be a great exciting event, seeing the historic battle in the historic costumes will be really a newer experience for many people! I wish I could be there but sadly I won't be able to. Good luck to the lucky ones! :)

Yep, what an exciting event that is.
Wow the first good thing is there is a reenactment going to happen and secondly it is taking place on a hill and thirdly people will be wearing the historic costumes. Many beautiful things altogether. It is going to be a successful event.
