Very interesting sir blanchy! I don't think of Ireland as a land of immigrants like the U.S. for some reason but maybe your family is an exception. Do you know if they gave your grandfather a hard time when he first got there?
Recently we have become very multi cultural. With my grandfather they loved him . The French hated the English as well and they loved to drink so he fit in well. Have you watched peaky blinders yet? On netflix . You would like it .
