Great post, very well written and an interesting idea! I feel like during Cold War ideas mattered more than any other circumstance, even though, as you said, it went against Marx’s ideas. And even today ideas seem to outpower the real circumstance. That is probably because man is trying to elevate himself above nature and power can feed off ideas. Sorry for deviating a bit.
