This DJ Through a Party at Stonehenge - Shame on Him

in #history6 years ago (edited)

Is there not a place a place a DJ will leave alone? I've seen videos of DJ's performing at Cathedrals, Castles, and the Pyramids.

I was sad to discover that Legendary DJ Paul Oakenfold, recently through a party at Stonehenge. For those who don't know, Paul Oakenfold was voted the Worlds number one DJ in 1998 and 1999, by DJ Magazine. I grew up listening to his sets. While he only hosted around 50 people, what is the point of trespassing on a sacred place? Many humans don't know who built Stonehenge, but it's considered to be delicate. Here's a DJ, looking for a quick photo op, and here's CNN bragging about his event. 50 years ago, if the Beatles through a concert at Stonehenge, many citizens would be outraged. We live in an age that has become desensitized to our history.
