A Little History and Cuisine part 1

Japanese food is world renowned and has rightfully gained respect for its authenticity on a global scale. It carries a lot of character, aesthetic appeal and flavour with much of its influence being carried throughout generations of culinary experience. The historic value of Japanese food dates back many years ago and there are many specific styles of cuisine within the Japanese selection that appeals to many.

While much of the styles have become known as staple Japanese style, there have been a number of external influences that have crept in and made their name part of the Japanese style. It’s amazing to dig a little deeper into what exactly some of the more well known styles are.
