RPC Node Recovered
After a few days, my RPC node https://api.justyy.com is restored and fully functional again !
Lessons learned
sometimes the node may seem stuck - and the ./run.sh logs doesn't seem to print anymore, but the node is still trying very hard to catch up the latest blocks.
I restarted a few times which I shouldn't have as it was working fine, but I thought the steemd was down :( thus delaying the process of recovery.
You can verify by:
- visit the node URL to see if the "jussi_number" is incrementing
- Use this command to print the raw log
tail -f /var/lib/docker/containers/*/*-json.log
