Songwriter
Barbara is a big fan of pop idols she used to watch and listen to. It's also one of her dream, to become a pop idol someday. Her talents in dancing and singing might be enough to become a successful singer, or may become a member of a girl group.
When an entertainment agency held an audition for to form a girl group, she came along with thousands of aspirants. Waited for hours, and when it's her turn, she lost the energy that she can't perform well. Thus, she failed on the audition. But that didn't let her down.
Another audition was held, and she's all prepared. When her name was called, she's very excited and energetic. Her bubbly personality, as well as her talent brought her to the next round. On the next round, she performed well and finally, she got the spot for one of the seven members of the group.
Training came, and they were told what to eat, and what they should avoid. She's willing to sacrifice not eating her favorite food. They were also forced to reach a certain weight. Initially, her mindset, that would be good for her health. They had undergone intense training dancing, singing, exercising, etc. She got exhausted, and the training is taking its toll on her physical and mental health.
They were told to undergo plastic surgery, something she told herself she will never do. She sat down and think. So much sacrifices are made, and she cannot bear what they're told to do. She quit her dream to become part of the girl group. Being a fan of music, she started to write songs whatever she's inspired of. She sent those songs to recording companies, and her song was chosen to be recorded by a girl group. That group is the one she's almost a part of. The song was released, and gave the group their first hit, and earned Barbara success as a songwriter.
