The Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan Ph.D, led the 74th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony (HUT) of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), in the courtyard of the Bireuen Hall, Monday morning (29/4/2024).

The ceremony commemorating the 74th Anniversary (HUT) of Satpol-PP in 2024 was also combined with the commemoration of the 62nd Anniversary (HUT), Community Protection Unit (Satlinmas) and the 21st Anniversary (HUT) of Wilayatul Hisbah (WH) in 2024.

During the ceremony, Aulia Sofyan read the message of the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) of the Republic of Indonesia, Tito Karnavian.

As stated, the Minister of Home Affairs hopes that through the momentum of the series of anniversary celebrations for Satpol PP and Satlinmas this year, the quality of carrying out their duties as state servants, community servants and government servants can continue to be improved with greater enthusiasm, competence and professionalism to support the main tasks and operational functions in the field. .

The Minister of Home Affairs emphasized to all levels of Satpol PP and Satlinmas in the regions to always be proactive in observing conditions and dynamics in their areas in order to maintain stability and security by prioritizing humanism in carrying out their duties in the field.

The Minister of Home Affairs also reminded all members of the Satpol PP and Satlinmas to increase their preparedness in creating a safe and orderly atmosphere in supporting the implementation of the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections.

"I am confident and believe that the experience of previous regional elections and this year's general election will be a strong foundation for Satpol PP and Satlinmas in carrying out their duties effectively and professionally," he said.

He also reminded all members of the Satpol PP and Satlinmas to work together and synergize with the TNI/Polri to participate in maintaining security stability.

"And increasing the professionalism and capacity of the apparatus in matters of public peace and community protection as one of the mandatory basic service matters," he concluded.

On that occasion, the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan also wished Wilayatul Hisbah a Happy 21st Birthday in 2024. It is hoped that the synergy that has been formed so far in handling violations of Islamic Sharia can be improved.

The Wilayatul Hisbah Police, as the leading pillar in monitoring and enforcing Islamic Sharia in Aceh, of course carries quite a big risk.

"However, we are very confident that all personnel who have joined are ready to take the risks and serve as a field of charity for the afterlife," he said.

Public awareness in the implementation of Islamic Sharia Qanun and the implementation of the values of Islamic Sharia Qanun must be increased, especially the need to increase understanding, appreciation and practice of these values among the people of Aceh.

"Increase the professionalism and capacity of the apparatus, create synergy between the central government and regional governments to achieve the goal of an orderly and investment-friendly region through professional and sharia-compliant Satpol PP, Satlinmas and WH," said the Acting Regent of Bireuen.

The event was also accompanied by the handing over of award certificates to five members of the Bireuen Regency Civil Service and Wilayatul Hisbah Police Unit (Satpol PP and WH), as well as the handing over of Government Employee Decree with Work Agreements (SK PPPK) to 529 people who graduated in 2023.

Presentation of certificates of appreciation to five members of the Bireuen Regency Civil Service and Wilayatul Hisbah Police Unit (Satpol PP and WH), namely Zulkarnaini, SE, for their role in serving public peace and public order in a humane manner.

Furthermore, it was given to T. Amrullah, Lc., MA, as Civil Servant Investigator for his role in enforcing Regional Regulations and Regional Regulations. Then Armayati, SE, also received an award for her role in General Administration services.

Then, Lidiawati, SH also received an award for her role in resolving cases of Qanun violators and Anwar Zulham, S.Sos, was given an award for her role in supervising Islamic Sharia services. The awards were presented respectively by the Acting Regent of Bireuen and elements of Forkopimda Bireuen.
