There are 650 people interested in being candidates for the District Election Committee (PPK) for the simultaneous regional elections in the near future, reaching 75 people who have registered and submitted files manually as of Friday (26/4/2024).

Izuddin conveyed this information to the media crew, one of the commissioners of the Bireuen Independent Election Commission (KIP), Friday (26/4/2024) when he and his team received registration files from dozens of candidates at KIP Bireuen.

Applicants from various sub-districts came to KIP Bireuen, some immediately submitted their files and some completed various requirements at KIP Bireuen. When registering and bringing the files, the KIP employee first looks at the registration number and immediately opens the application to see if the candidate is registered in the SIPOL application.

If the name is on the SIPOL application, it means the person concerned is an administrator of a political party, then the officer asks to correct the file. If the name is not in the application, the file will be immediately received and checked briefly. The files will be checked again more carefully, if complete you can take the written exam in the near future.

Izuddin said the deadline for registration and submitting files was 23.59 WIB, Monday (29/4/2024). Currently as many as 650 people have registered via the application, some have filled in their biodata, completed their documents and many have also completed the summit.

Of the 650 interested data at SIAKBA, 75 people have brought their files to KIP Bireuen.

As previously reported, for Bireuen residents who are interested in becoming candidates for the District Election Committee (PPK) for 17 sub-districts and the Voting Committee (PPS) for 609 villages in Bireuen starting April 23 2024, please register via the SIAKBA application.

Apart from registering via the application, you also submit the required documents that have been downloaded via the application to KIP Bireuen. The number of KIP members required for each sub-district is five people.

After registering for the next stage, the files are examined until May 3, then the results of the administrative research will be announced for two days, namely May 4-5, written selection for three days from May 6 - 8. Announcement of written test results May 9-10, public response from May 4-10.

After that, selection interviews continued for three days 11-13 May, announcement of selection results 14-15 May. "The written exam will take place at Umuslim Peusangan Bireuen for three days, namely May 6 -8," said Izuddin.
