Head of the Hajj and Umrah Organizing Section of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) Bireuen, Sulaimannur, said that as many as 421 Prospective Hajj Pilgrims (CJH) from Bireuen would leave for the holy land in two flying groups (Kloter).

"The number of CJH Bireuen this year has reached 421 people who will depart in two groups. Currently, they are waiting for the departure schedule and will depart from Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport," said Sulaimannur Wednesday, April 24 2024.

Sulaimannur said that currently prospective Hajj pilgrims have completed the preparation of the required documents, such as passports, bio visas and health checks. Currently, he said, the Hajj Manasik is taking place in the sub-district for eight days which is divided into western, central and eastern regions. Next month, this activity will continue at the Bireuen Regency level for two days.

"The implementation of Hajj rituals at the sub-district level is carried out at every Religious Affairs Office (KUA)," said Sulaimannur.

In preparation, two groups have been formed for CJH's departure, with one full flight of one plane for 385 CJH Bireuen pilgrims, while 36 CJH Bireuen will join in Group 9 along with CJH from Langsa City and Aceh Tamiang. "We hope that the Hajj pilgrims will instill in their hearts intention, sincerity and patience, and follow all directions and guidance from the Hajj officers with discipline," said Sulaimannur.
