Steem SEA Contest (Part 45th): Photography Contest- Planet Positive | Coastal Clean-up @jufranketchup

Good day Steemians! Greetings in Peace... I hope all is doing great today even the world is not in favor to us for this time, we must always remember to keep going and never give up.

Now, I make an article related to the theme Betterlife - Planet Positives and share to this community what we were doing lately in the morning.

Tiredness from our different work is not a hindrance for us to help our community to maintain the cleanliness in our environment especially the SEA.

Lately, we were at Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City under the Marcelo Fernan Bridge collaborating with our very own and beloved Philippine National Police personnel to collect trash and debris along the seashore to maintain the beauty of our sea on the said place. Under the Marcelo Fernan bridge is a people's park and many people who are visited on that place so that is why it really need to be clean always.

Coastal clean-up is also have a big benefits to our water bodies to prevent the contamination of water so that the marine life will live longer until the next generations, to reduce the pollution under water, for continuing the livelihood of the fisherfolks because the fish will not inexhaustible and many more. So let's positively help our planet in many ways.

Before we start, the Philippine National Police personnel conducted a short briefing for the designation of the areas of all the volunteer and the proper disposal of the garbage. According to the head of the activity, my tasks is to photograph using my phone VIVO Y20i all the act during the coastal clean-up for the documentation and report, and at the same time I also helped picking trash.

We wears gloves for protection in our hands to avoid wounds from any debris like broken glass or any sharp objects.

We go around the seashore to consume all the trash so that all the marine life in that area will live longer and multiply.

After everything, we go back to the station carrying the sacks of garbage which we have collected. We put it altogether in one place and waiting for the garbage truck to arrive and they will get the trash for proper disposal.

I encourage everyone in this platform that if you have enough time please do coastal clean-up or any activity in your area to help our environment.
