Hundreds of Riders Conquer Bireuen's Paya Santewan Hill.

Hundreds of riders from Aceh and North Sumatra (North Sumatra) on Saturday (27/4/2024), had to fall and fall while trying to conquer the mini route at the Bukit Cinta Paya Santewan tourist attraction, Kota Juang, Bireuen.

This gathering event for trail enthusiasts was held by the Bireuen Trail Adventure (Betra) and supported by a number of other elements. This activity was opened by the Director of Intelligence and Security at the Aceh Police, Police Commissioner M Ali Gaddafi, and was attended by other officials.

Each participant was initially required to pass a mini route and climb at the Bukit Cinta Paya Santewan tourist attraction. Riders have to pass through a small path that has been designed in such a way.

The track design includes, among other things, a number of used four-wheeled and two-wheeled tires, piles of dirt, piles of rocks the size of coconuts, or other obstacles, as well as broken turns.

When passing through the mini route, many riders fell, so the team moved to help their riders and stepped on the gas again. After passing the mini route, participants continued on the incline in the Paya Santewan Reservoir area.

When climbing the incline, it was seen that dozens of riders involved had fallen. The first gathering of riders at this tourist attraction was attended by 380 riders. The release was not carried out all at once and was released symbolically due to the large number of participants and the difficulty of the obstacles on the mini route.

The first release was carried out by Police Commissioner Ali Gaddafi as the rider coach. Then it was continued by Kajari Bireuen, Bireuen Police Chief represented by the Head of Ops, Dandim 0111/Bireuen, Bireuen Regency Government, and a number of other officials.

This event was attended by various groups, officials, businessmen and others, including AKBP Carlie Syahputra Bustamam, SIK, MH who currently serves as Deputy Commander of the Aceh Police Mobile Brigade Unit.

After passing the incline, participants will take a further route of 40 kilometers (Km), starting from Paya Santewan then Paya Ru, Pase Village, continue to the Paloh area, Juli District, and return to Paya Santewan.

Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Hendra Pahlevi, said that the Bireuen Trail Adventure or Betra 2 event was a gathering place for riders from Aceh and North Sumatra. He said that as many as 380 participants took part in the activity.

"This activity is supported by various groups with prizes of one four-wheeled vehicle and various other attractive prizes," explained Hendra.

The participants took a 40 km route, starting from Paya Santewan to a number of villages in July and returning to Paya Santewan.

"Usually, the route has many obstacles at the end, but in the event at the Paya Santewan tourist attraction, the difficult route at the start is a mini route that is designed in such a way," he said.
