Today I'm going to make my Steemit Crypto Academy Homework task by professor @wahyunahrul that talking about Audius - Decentralized Music Platform. Very interesting lessons. Actually I have very little knowledge about this, but I will try to discuss it to improve my writing skills. On this occasion I will try to discuss it.
What do you think about the presence of the Audius platform in the music industry?
In my opinion, the presence of Audius has brought innovation and new breakthroughs in the music industry where the adoption of music in everyday life is very high. Music is a part of life that cannot be separated for everyone, especially music lovers. Audius is here as a platform that providing musics that can be heard anytime and anywhere. This is very useful for every user because they can immediately enjoy and use it in their daily life. The involvement of the cryptocurrency ecosystem especially in the music industry shows an extraordinary existence because it continues to provide things that are needed by everyone.
Audius has bridged music creators with music lovers. As we know, so far the music industry has always involved music label companies as third parties in distributing music to various sectors that can generate profits. The presence of Audius as a digital platform has had a positive impact on the music creators. This is evidenced by the Audius system and governance that allows music creators to monetize their work in the form of cryptocurrency the AUDIO token. This has made the cryptocurrency world more involved in daily life and shows good development.
In this case, Audius has its own advantages that greatly benefit music creators who are involved in producing works. Audius uses a blockchain network system that is familiar in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. This aims to increase security and give music creators complete control over their contributions to the platform. This is evidenced when the music creator has uploaded his work, they already have the copyright to the work. In my opinion, Audius has a fair and decentralized system governance. The main and most important factor here is the absence of involvement of third parties or music label companies in the Audius system governance. This makes music creators have full discretion and control over the works they create to generate profits on the platform without any interference from other parties. This reflects a decentralized system where this is the development of the digital world that is most liked and awaited by many people especially in the music industry.
Audius also allows users who have AUDIO tokens to be involved and have rights in the decision-making process of the system governance. In this case, user involvement will affect the development of the platform for the better in the future. Audius also provides transparency to the public about the monetization and transactions of AUDIO tokens involving music creators and music lovers on the platform. This shows that no errors or fraud occurred thus giving the platform a good reputation. This reflects fairness that has a positive impact on the platform.
The use of the blockchain network also has a major impact on Audius' governance system. This aims to increase the security of the platform where all transactions that occur on the network will be recorded so that users are safe in transacting AUDIO tokens and music creators will have their own copyright to the works produced on the platform. Audius has two types of staking, namely Operator Node Staking and Delegate Staking. Here I visit the website Audius.
Connect Wallet
On the main page I chose Explore Dashboard.
On the next page, I linked the wallet by clicking Connect Metamask.
On the next page, I open the wallet by clicking Open Metamask.
On Metamask, I selected my account and clicked Next.
On Metamask, I connected Audius with Metamask by clicking Connect.
Delegate Staking
To do Delegate Staking, I chose the Service feature.
On the next page, I select the Figmen option from several available options.
On the next page, Information about Figmen is available and I select Delegate.
On the next page, I delegate $100 AUDIO to the operator by clicking Delegate.
On the next page, I confirm the transaction by clicking Confirm With Metamask.
On Metamask, transaction details are available but I can't do this staking because I don't have the funds.
Operator Node Staking
To do Operator Node Staking, I selected the Service feature and clicked Register New Service.
On the next page, I registered a New Service with a staking amount of $200 AUDIO by clicking Register Service.
On the next page, I confirmed the transaction by clicking Confirm with Metamask.
On the next page, the transaction confirmation stated an error because I can't do this staking and I don't have the funds.
Show the steps to create an account on Audius
The steps to create an account on Audius is to visit the website Audius.
On the main page, I filled in my email and clicked Sign Up. On the next page, I filled in my password and clicked Continue.
On the next page, I complete my profile by clicking I'd Rather Fill Out My Profile Manually. On the next page, I filled in the name and clicked Continue.
On the next page, I followed 3 artists and clicked Continue. Finally I already have an Audius account.
Explore and explain the features available on the Audius application or website
The features available on the Audius can be explored by visiting the website Audius.
The Feed feature provides a variety of music that can be played and enjoyed by users at any time. This feature shows the number of plays, likes and reposts that represent user ratings of the music on Audius.
The Search feature allows users access to quickly search profiles, tracks and playlists in Audius. The user also has several options to choose from for the display of the feed.
The Trending feature provides weekly, monthly and yearly trending music nominations. Users can find out about this quickly. All available genres are also available which can make it easier to access on Audius.
The Explore feature allows users to explore Audius in its entirety. It shows users trending playlists or underground trending which shows the qualities and characteristics of Audius.

Explain in detail how the mechanism of uploading music content on Audius
The mechanism of uploading music content on Audius is to rely on Content Nodes and Discovery Nodes. The first is Content Nodes which functions to store and deliver audio content created by music creators on the platform. This is the initial stage or the first node in charge of uploading audio content using several computers that have good power. This node works to validate music data created and uploaded by music creators. Furthermore, this node will convey and share the music data to other nodes and stored on the blockchain network.
The second is Discovery Nodes which functions to index and connect data music to create copyrights on the platform. This node is a continuation of Content Nodes which works to record the data music and associate it with data from music creators. This makes music creators have legal copyrights for works uploaded on the Audius. This node will confirm that the music or work has been successfully uploaded to Audius. I can upload music to Audius by visiting the website Audius.
On the main page, I upload Music Tracks by clicking Browse to Upload.
Furthermore, I uploaded 1 Music Track and clicked Continue.
Furthermore, I complete the data and information about the Music Track by creating the name Doraemon Acoustic Cover, selecting the Acoustic genre and Easygoing mood, uploading the Artwork and clicking Continue.
Furthermore, the process of uploading Music Tracks is complete.
Finally the Music Tracks that I uploaded can be played on Audius.
