PROJECT ANALYSIS
The Chain Algorand, born from the brilliant mind of Prof. Silvio Micali, aims to solve the scalability / security / decentralization trilemma with its Pure Proof of Stake.
It has a dual layer architecture, which allows the coexistence of a native layer1 and layer2, maximizing scalability.
Furthermore, it allows the creation of so-called co-chains: auxiliary blockchains interoperable with the main one.
So far it has made little talk about itself because there is not yet a thriving ecosystem of DApps, but the first DeFi are already arriving at the end of the year.
In addition, a $ 300 million fund has been allocated to incentivize its development.
The chain has a particularity in its consensus algorithm, which is a patented consensus algorithm, which is called PURE PROOF OF STAKE.
it is a PROOF OF STAKE, which unlike the others, aims to be inclusive towards all participants.
So every single Holder of the ALGO coin that holds it on his Wallet and puts it in staking, can validate blocks.
A minimum threshold is not necessary, there is no Delegtion logic, But each individual Holder can be a valdatore.
Each Holder is selected in a "Random" manner by means of an algorithm, by means of a probabilistic weight which is proportional to the number of ALGOs held.
it can be selected at each validation lap of a block, which takes about 5 seconds, it can be selected
as the next validator.
This "random" draw and this inclusive staking have 2 advantages:
Decentralization (because in fact in this way we tend not to centralize the power of validation in the hands of a few, but it is extended
to the whole network).Security (A Haker cannot be certain about who can be the next block validator).
SCALABILITY is guaranteed above all due to the fact that this PURE PROOF OF STAKE is very fast, the validation is very fast and the blocking time
is less than 5 seconds; moreover, there is a one-layer architecture that essentially provides for a native Layer 1 and Layer 2 of the Algorand blockchain.
Layer 1 provides "basic" operations which are the most important to carry out the ONE CHAIN activities and are the least expensive since
computational point of view and network load.
The most expensive operations are performed on Layer 2, but unlike, for example, the Etherium world, where layer 2 is a separate chain with
bridges and other complications, in this case we have an activity of both Layers directly on the Algorand Blockchain.
The most expensive operations are actually performed OFF CHAIN, and their final result is brought ON CHAIN plus a certification.
This system brings the Gas Fees to be <0.015 $.
Another important featur of the Algorand ecosystem is the fact of being able to create a Co-Chain system.
These Co-Chains are real secondary Chains, with their own characteristics, which can be decided in the design and development phase.
Unlike the other private chains on Algorand, in this case the Co-Chains communicate with the other Co-Chains and also with the Main Chain,
therefore they are de facto interoperable, with the whole Algorand world.
The assets that are inside can be taken out, they can be exchanged elsewhere and so on, compatibly with the rules of the Co-Chain in question.
SMART CONTRACTS on Algorand are currently written in a language called TEAL which has the distinction of being "non-Turing-Complete", so it's a bit
limited on the operations that SMART CONTRACT can allow to perform, and it is more complicated, but it is also safer.
As a result, all DAPPs are safer, but take longer to develop.
however, an UPDATE is planned, which will bring more languages, in order to have greater adoption in the DEFI world.
TOKENOMICS
There are 10,000,000,000 of ALGO Token Maximum Supply.
Much of this Supply (25%) was allocated to VC / Early backer, or those who made big knots in the past, the first investors
and those who first invested in Algorand.
These tokens allocated to them are locked, and are released over time until 2030.
There is a procedure called "Accelerated Vesting" which is an accelerated release of these blocked tokens which provides that when the price of
token goes up a lot, so when demand overwhelms supply, (Exponential Moving Average at 30 days> Exponential Moving Average at all-time highs of the last 30 days)
more tokens than normal are issued; this causes in fact when the price rises, more liquidity is flooded into the pockets of the "Adopters", so that they can sell to a
higher price and consequently suppress the price.
Staking does not create new coins, but the transaction fees go to the Algorand Foundation, so the reward of Staking is the Foundation
who gives a part of their tokens to the various stakers.
In October 2021, a Governance with decision-making power will be created.
At the moment Algorand's DEFI landscape is very limited to the Yieldly platform, which is a platform that owns a kind of

PERSONAL OPINIONS
Great chain with a great design. I expect that, as its ecosystem is implemented with DEFI Platforms,
Landing platforms, the entire collateral structure such as the Bridges can also arrive to bring the tokenized assets to Algorand
in order to give it greater integration with the rest of the Crypto world and give it a further acceleration.
It seems to me that the conditions exist, we will see what happens in the coming months.

ANALISI DEL PROGETTO
La Chain Algorand, nata dalla mente brillante del Prof. Silvio Micali, punta a risolvere il trilemma scalabilità/sicurezza/decentralizzazione con il suo Pure Proof of Stake.
Ha un'architettura dual layer, che permette la coesistenza di un layer1 ed un layer2 nativi, massimizzando la scalabilità.
Inoltre, permette la creazione delle cosiddette co-chain: blockchain ausiliarie interoperabili con la principale.
Fin'ora ha fatto parlare poco di sé perché non esiste ancora un ecosistema florido di DApp, ma già a fine anno arrivano le prime DeFi.
Inoltre, è stato stanziato un fondo da 300 milioni di dollari per incentivarne proprio lo sviluppo.
La chain ha una particolarità nel suo algoritmo di consenso, che è un algoritmo di consenso brevettato, che si chiama PURE PROOF OF STAKE.
è un PROOF OF STAKE, che a differenza degli altri, punta ad essere inclusivo verso tutti i partecipanti.
Quindi ogni singolo Holder della coin ALGO che la detiene sul suo Wallet e la mette in staking, può convalidare blocchi.
Non è necessaria una soglia minima, non c'è una logica di Delegtion, Ma ognisingolo Holder puo essere un valdatore.
Viene selezionato in maniera "Random" tramite un algoritmo, tramite un peso probabilistico che è proporzionale al numero di ALGO detenuti, ogni Holder
può essere selezionato ad ogni giro di validazione di un blocco, che richiede all'incirca poco meno di 5 secondi, può appunto venire selezionato
come prossimo validatore.
Questo sorteggio "random" e questo staking inclusivo hanno 2 vantaggi:
La Decentralizzazione (perche di fatto in questo modo si tende a non accentrare il potere di validazione in mano a pochi, ma è esteso
a tutto il network).La Sicurezza ( Un Haker non puo avere certezze su chi può essere il prossimo validtore del blocco).
LA SCALABILITA' è garantita sopratutto al fatto che questo PURE PROOF OF STAKE è molto veloce, la validazione è molto rapida e il tempo di blocco
è inferiore ai 5 secondi; inoltre c'è un architettura di un layer che in sostanza prevede un Layer 1 e un Layer 2 nativi della blockchain Algorand.
Il layer 1 prevede operazionidi "base" che sono quelle più importanti per portare avanti le attività ONE CHAIN e sono quelle meno onerose dal
punto di vista computazionale e di carico del network.
Sul Layer 2 vengono eseguite le operazioni più onerose, ma a differenza ad esempio del mondo Etherium, dove il layer 2 è una chain a parte con
i ponti e altre complicazioni, in questo caso abbiamo un attività di entrambi i Layer direttamente sulla Blockchain di Algorand.
Le operazioni più onerose vengono di fatto eseguite OFF CHAIN, e ON CHAIN viene portato il loro risultato finale più una certificazione.
Questo sistema porta le Gas Fee ad essere < 0.015 $.
Un altra Featur importante dell'ecosistema Algorand è data dal fatto di poter creare un sistema di Co-Chain.
Queste Co-Chain sono delle vere e proprio Chain secondarie, dotate di caratteristiche proprie, che si possono decidere in fase di progettazione e sviluppo.
A differenza delle altre chain private su Algorand, in questo caso le Co-Chain comunicano con le altre Co- Chain e anche con la Chain Principale,
quindi sono interoperabili di fatto, con tutto il mondo Algorand.
Gli asset che ci sono dentro si possono portare fuori, si possono scambiare altrove e quant'altro compatibilmente con le regole della Co-Chain in questione.
Gli SMART CONTRACT su Algorand sono attualmente scritti con un linguaggio chiamato TEAL che ha la particolarità di essete "non Turing-Complete", quindi è un po
limitato sulle operazioni che si può permettere di eseguire agli SMART CONTRACT, ed è più complicato, però è anche più sicuro.
Di conseguenza tutte le DAPP sono più sicure, ma richiedono più tempo per essere sviluppate.
è in progetto un UPDATE tuttavia, che porterà più linguaggi, allo scopo di avere una maggiore adozione nel mondo DEFI.
TOKENOMICS
Ci sono 10.000.000.000 di Supply Massima del Token ALGO.
Buona parte di questa Supply (25%) è stata allocata a VC/Early backer, ovvero coloro che hanno fatto grossi nodi in passato, i primi investitori
e coloro che per primi hanno investito in Algorand.
Questi token allocati a loro sono bloccati, e vengono rilasciati nel tempo fino al 2030.
Esiste una procedura chiamata " Accelerated Vesting" che è un rilascio accelerato di questi token bloccati che prevede che quando il prezzo dei
token sale molto, quindi quando la domanda va a sopraffare l'offerta,( Media Mobile Esponenziale ai 30 giorni > Media Mobile Esponenziale ai massimi storici degli ultimi 30 giorni)
vengono rilasciati più token del normale; questo causa che di fatto quando il prezzo sale, viene innondata più liquidità nelle tasche degli "Adopter", cosicchè loro possono vendere a un
prezzo più alto e di conseguenza sopprimere il prezzo.
Lo Staking non crea nuove coin, ma le fee di transazione vanno alla Algorand Foundation, quindi la ricompensa di Staking è la Foundation
che da una parte dei loro token ai vari staker.
Ad Ottobre 2021 verrà creata una Governance con potere decisionale.
Al momento il panorama DEFI di Algorand è molto limitato alla piataforma Yieldly, che è una piattaforma che possiede usa specie di
"lotteria" con anche NFT e lo staking del loro token. Sotto potete trovare il link dell piattaforma.

OPINIONI PERSONALI
Ottima chain con un ottimo progetto. Mi aspetto che, nel momento che il suo ecosistema verrà implementato con Piattaforme DEFI,
piattaforme Landing, possa arrivare anche tutta la struttura collaterale come i Bridge per portare gli asset tokenizzati su Algorand
di modo da dargli una maggiore integrazione con il resto del mondo Crypto e dargli un ulteriore accelerazione.
I presupposti mi sembra che ci siano, vedremo cosa accade nei prossimi mesi.
