In the last 3 months the price of the token has gone from a minimum value of $ 0.17 to a maximum of $ 2.48.
The current price is around $ 2.46 with an increase of 1319.9% compared to 3 months ago.
Fantom is one of the biggest performers blockchain in existence.
Transactions are finalized instantly and the cost of these transactions is less than $ 0.01.
Fantom is an ETH compatible chain, making it a great candidate for DEFI platforms.
Fantom is currently the 6th blockchain for TVL, i.e. by total capital deposited on it in the DEFI area, this is because many DEFI applications are
born right on Fantom and among other things they have adopted a very particular incentive method.
Usually the classic Liquidity Mining is done, that is, tot millions are allocated to users to make them use the platforms.
Fantom acted differently, that is, these incentives aimed primarily at developers.
Fantom is a high performance DAPP and SMART CONTRACT platform, comptibile EVM (Etherium virtual machine) so it can execute Smart Contracts written in SOLIDITY at almost 0 cost.
Fantom also has its own native DEFI, still little used because on the one hand it is incomplete, and then because being EVM compatible, the big work comes from outside.
Behind Fantom, one of the main supporters is Andre Cronje, a well-known DEFI developer in the Etherium sector, especially for Yearn Finance.
Fantom's Scalability, Performance is one of FANTOM's advantages:

Instant transaction finalization (DAG method).
Modularity: each DAPP has its own blockchain, communicating with Fantom.
Fantom uses a consensus algorithm called "LACHESIS".
It is a PROOF OF STAKE based on BTF (one of the most used consensus algorithms in POS), where in essence it allows the blockchain to go on for as long
that at least 2/3 of the validators behave in a benevolent manner.
There are 60 validators, of which 10 are from the Fantom Foundation.
The requirements to become a validator are considerable, especially in terms of Bandwidth, to start a validator.
Virtually there could be infinite validators, they say on the Fantom website, however there is a requirement even in FTM that is not really within everyone's reach;
that is, it takes at least 1 million Fantom, and obviously the Hardware is not within everyone's reach, especially in terms of Bandwidth (about 1 to 10 Gigabit per second)
Validators take 13% of the Apy and who cannot be a validator, delegates the power of their FTMs to a validator.
The delegator can stake his FTMs with a variable lock (APR varies with the duration of the lock), on the other hand he is given SFTMs (therefore a liquid staking solution)
which can be used as collateral in the native Fantom chain itself.
The DeFi on Fantom has 3 possibilities within it:
F MINT, which allows us to create FUSD (Fantom native stable coin) or F SYNT which are synthetics collateralized by FTM that take
their value from something external (e.g. another crypto, gold, etc.).it is possible to exchange glo F SYNT on the F Swap, which is a dex implemented directly in Fantom (Swap / Pool).
You can use F SYNTs and FUSDs as collateral to request loans using F LEND (Lending / Borrow).
Tokenomics
The Token FTM is the native token of the Fantom blockchain and acts as a Governance Token and is also used for staking.
Fees are paid on transactions, on the Upload of smart contracts on the chain and the interaction with them.
The supply is fixed, and all the part not yet on the market will be issued by stking the token (inflationary).
Being a blockchain with 60 validators, 10 of which from the Fantom Foundation, Fantom is considered a fairly centralized network.
The operation of the DEFI on Fntom is practically the same as that of all compatible EVMs.
We can easily connect our Wallet Metamask on the FANTOM OPERA MAINNET chain (the parameters to insert it can all be found on the FANTOM website).

PERSONAL OPINIONS
Fantom and its Blockchain seems to me an excellent project for what concerns the DEFI and the speed of transactions at low Fees.
The only problem is the Centralization of the validators, despite this I consider them a project with great potential for growth over time
especially as regards the DEFI.

Fantom ha inoltre, una sua DEFI nativa, ancora poco usata perche da una parte è incompleta, e poi perchè essendo EVM compatibile, il grosso lavoro viene da fuori.

Virtualmente ci potrebbero essere infiniti validtori, dicono sul sito web di Fantom, tuttavia c'è un requisito anche in FTM non proprio alla portata di tutti;
ovvero ce ne vogliono almeno 1 milione di Fantom, e ovviamente l'Hardware non è alla portata di tutti sopratutto in termini di Bandwidth (circa da 1 a 10 Gigabit al secondo)
I validatori prendono il 13% del Apy e chi non può fare il validatore, va a delegare il potere dei propri FTM a un validatore.
Il delegatore può mettere in staking i suoi FTM con un lock variabile (APR varia con la durata del lock), di contro gli vengono dati degli SFTM (quindi una soluzione di staking liquido)
che possono essere usati come collaterale nella chain nativa di Fantom stesso.
La DeFi su Fantom, possiede al suo interno 3 possibilità:
F MINT, che ci permette di andare a fare la creazione di FUSD (stable coin nativa di Fantom) oppure dei F SYNT che sono dei sintetici collateralizzati da FTM che prendono
il loro valore da qualcosa di esterno ( es. un altra crypto, oro, ecc).è possibile scambiare glo F SYNT sull' F Swap, che è un dex implementato direttamente in Fantom (Swap/Pool).
Si possono usare gli F SYNT e gli FUSD come collaterale per richiedere prestiti utilizando F LEND (Lending/ Borrow).
Tokenomics
Il Token FTM è il token nativo della blockchain Fantom e fa da Token di Governance e viene utilizzato anche per lo staking.
Si pagano le fees sulle transazioni, sull' Upload degli smart contract sulla chain e l'interazione con essi.
La supply è fissata, e tutta la parte non ancora sul mercato verrà emessa tramite lo stking del token (inflattiva).
Essendo una blockchain con 60 validatori, di cui 10 della Fantom Foundation, Fantom è considerata un network abbastanza centralizzato.
Il funzionamento dell DEFI su Fntom è praticamente analogo a quello di tutte le EVM compatibili.

OPINIONI PERSONALI
Fantom e la sua Blockchain mi sembra un ottimo progetto per quello che riguarda la DEFI e la velocotà delle transazioni a basse Fees.
Unico problema la Centralizzazione dei validatori, nonostante questo le reputo un progetto con grande possibilità di crescita nel tempo
sopratutto per quanto riguarda la DEFI.
