and Prof what of people that were already on the platform before the integration of achievement post, do we still have to go back and do the achievements before taking part here..

As mentioned by @steemitblog in The Steemit Crypto Academy : Season 3 : The Three Levels, For Season 3 there will be 6 fixed introductory courses under Beginners level and this post is one of them.
The 6 fixed introductory courses under Beginners are specially designed for the New joiner on Steemit who completed the Achievement Task 4, it has been structured in a way to motivate newcomers' community.
Apart from these 6 fixed introductory courses, there will be dynamic courses available under Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced Level in the coming weeks.
According to this, the people that were already on the platform before the integration of the achievement post can wait and when dynamic courses available under Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced Level then they can take a part under dynamic courses if they have a required SP and Reputation.

Achievements Tasks are introduced in the start of 2020. If a person has acount since 2017, 2018 then they can wait for the dynamic courses which will publish in the coming weeks, rest of all as new joiner for those Achievements Tasks mandatorytory to take a participate in these 6 fixed introductory courses.
