Obeying God leads to the path of success
But the LORD had said to Abram: Get out of your land and your kindred, and your father's house, to the land that I will show you. 2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and those who curse you I will curse; and all the families of the earth will be blessed in you. 4 And Abram went away, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran. Genesis 12: 1-4

Obedience is like a treasure that pleases God and opens the doors of blessings for men who walk successfully with God.
If Adam had appreciated this treasure of obeying God, surely he would have saved himself the labor of tilling the earth with hardness and sweat from his brow. The Lord would never have cursed the earth but would have reserved it as a paradise for men.
Disobedience brings a curse, but obedience leads to the path of success and prosperity.
Abraham's obedience to God brought a source of blessing for his life and hope for mankind. God called Abraham and obeyed him in such a way that he left his relatives and other goods that he had inherited from his father and went to the place that the Lord would later indicate.
Abraham's obedience led him to be a very rich man in goods, livestock, servants, gold and silver. Abraham was blessed for being a friend of God and for bringing in his generational line the savior of the world, Jesus Christ.
You can imagine the greatness of Abraham as a result of his obedience to God.
If we obey God, His blessings will certainly reach us and we will walk through life with assurance and confidence that God will bless us in everything we do and undertake.
