The many waters will not be able to quench love,
Not even the rivers will drown it.
If a man gave all the goods in his house for this love,
They would no doubt look at him with contempt. Songs 8: 7 King James Version (KJV)

The poem Song of Songs was written by King Solomon, who throughout his life had 1,000 wives. Solomon was a man with many romances and a lot of experience in love.

The multiple experiences of him with all the women who had led him to wisely compose the "Song of Songs".

The king was able to experience that life's many troubles and adversities were no reason to destroy the love of a couple. Solomon attributed great power to love when the many waters, which represent problems, could not destroy love in marriage.

These wise words of Solomon must be put into practice, since they are updated words, in which you can strengthen the marriage and prevent the problems that occur in marriage, they cannot have more power than love.

The power of love is manifested when the spouses can forgive each other for any crimes they may commit against each other.

The many rivers will not be able to drown love. That is, the strong and turbulent problems that a marriage often goes through, the violent problems cannot put out the fire of love in the couple.

Finding a marriage that does not have problems is very difficult. Finding marriages that have divorced, there are many in the world. Couples who profess love before God and promise to remain united are couples that God strengthens, if they remain in the divine covenant. If the marriage operates according to the word of God, they will stand firm in the midst of storms.
