The key to maximum freedom, is to seek the kingdom of God first.

The kingdom of God is nothing other than testing future blessings, that is, the contemplation and knowledge of God, how much is available to the human soul.

Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and his justice, and all these things will be added to you.

People make a decision: life with God and the difficult acquisition of virtues or life without God in sins and passions that never give peace and clarity to the human soul

Jesus came to remove from us any thoughts of unnecessary worry, he also mentioned heaven; So he came to destroy the old and call us to a better life; therefore, it does everything possible to get us out of excess and addiction to earthly things.

For this, Jesus mentioned the Gentiles, saying:

Matthew 6:32

Because the Gentiles seek all these things; but your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.

The Gentiles limit all their work to real life, who do not speak at all about the future and do not think about heaven. And for you that should not be so important, but seek God. We were not created because we were going to eat, drink, and dress, but to please God and receive future blessings.

So, intensely, we must care for and pray for the earth. Therefore, the Savior said: seek first the kingdom of God, and all this will be added to you.

That is why it does not order to ask for real goods, but to ask for other goods and expect them to join them. Therefore, seek the blessings of the future, and you will receive the present; don't look for the visible ones, and you will certainly get them.

And it is indecent that you approach the Lord with a prayer for such benefits. By being forced to focus all his attention for indescribable benefits, he is extremely disgracing the Father, when he is exhausted with worrying thoughts about the benefits of the transients.
