Our God Remains The Same
It is necessary for each believer to understand that our God remains the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13: 8), and although we are unfaithful, He remains faithful (2 Timothy 2:13). even if we fail, his love for us is unconditional, and he will sustain us in those moments in which we think we will not be able to do it anymore.
The second promise teaches us that he will not let the righteous down forever. In other words, there is always an opportunity to do it again, and do it better.
One of the cases that best exemplifies this is the case of the apostle Peter. Peter failed Jesus, denied him when he said he wouldn't, and even said he would even die for him. However, Jesus restored him when, upon rising from the dead, he again called upon him to feed his sheep.
After this, the apostle Peter, who was characterized by his constant failings, rose to lead the apostolic church, preaching to multitudes, and doing extraordinary signs.
It is essential that each child of God understand that their position as a child of God will not change, and that even though our current situation is not the most correct before God, there is always an opportunity to get up, and align our life to the will of God.
