Understanding
Isaiah 11
2 And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest on him; spirit of wisdom and understanding, spirit of counsel and power, spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord.
This verse from the bible shows us what we can really say that understanding is, because it goes beyond human knowledge and is the ability of man to discern spiritual things. Wisdom, intelligence, knowledge and fear of God is what basically defines understanding.
To understand is to go beyond what the great majority goes, It is to be able to connect with heaven, with God and bring the heavenly to earth, when I can discern God's will, when I accept each design and understand that we live under his complete and perfect will, that God established a plan which must be fulfilled, when I recognize that it comes from God and that it does not, then I can say that I am an understood person.
I believe that we must be more aware of what God wants us to do, of what is his will, understand his word, study it, and above all fulfill it, because this is simply the whole of man and the only way to live quietly and peacefully.
The truth is that God wants us to be understood in order to be able to know his plans, and be a part of them. When we know God's will we can move easily and take part in that spiritual world that governs everything on earth.
The truth is that if we could have a little more disposition to understand the spiritual realm, then our earthly life would be much more pleasant, let us ask God to rule our mind, heart and that our whole being becomes a man, a woman, understood of the times and what God wants to do today.
