Living absorbed only in what we want to achieve or enjoying the money of the possessions we have can be counterproductive because when we do not know how to maintain balance then we end up losing what we love the most and having it we do not enjoy it.
It is good to want to change our life, to have dreams and goals, but all this must be achieved without forgetting what we are and what we value, we must have our feet on the ground because if we only go to the heights we begin to devalue what took us to want to be better, to improve ourselves, there is a song that says: "for being busy in heaven forget that you live better on the ground." And there is no better phrase to describe it than that.
Well, this does not refer to the heaven that the bible promises us, but when we human beings have fame, money or power, we usually lose ourselves in those heights, leaving behind what really matters, what is on the ground, which is what really us. gives happiness.
For example, a home, a family, are invaluable treasures that people must take care of, nothing that risks the stability of the people we love is worth it, so if a personal success costs us our home or our family, let me tell you that it has not been no success.
Let us always live trying to be better but without our feet stopping touching the ground, material things are worked on and enjoyed without putting at risk what we love the most because without them none of this that we achieve would make sense.
It is good to dream but we do not stay at that height, we do not lose the most value we have for moments of pleasure that last very little, life is an opportunity to grow, to enjoy, to learn, to love.
