It is almost always believed that someone who attends a church or who believes in God is already a bearer of light or walks in the light, although it is true that Jesus is the light and everyone who follows him walks in the light, it is also true that It is not only believing but also doing, everyone who follows Jesus is because he practices his commandments, not the one who believes, you can be believing but without following him, so we must be clear about these points.

However, this verse from 1 John draws my attention, where it is made clear to us that if someone who considers himself a follower of Jesus hates his brother, he would still be in darkness.

So let's see how delicate it can be not to practice the commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves.
The Bible says that one of the things that God asks of us is that we show mercy, that we be compassionate, and this obviously leads us to love for others.

Beloved let's be loving, kind, kind and careful of our loved ones, our friends, our neighbor, let's show with every action that we live and walk in light.

Light and darkness do not have any type of alliance, that is, they are in one or the other, but you cannot be a part of both, that is why it is so important to fulfill what is really the will of God, we could be almost perfect but with the mere fact of not being helpful or not loving our neighbor, or creating any type of disagreement, we would be violating the law of God.
