Greetings, steemites of the world, once again we continue to be inspired by great works of pictorial artists to motivate them to awaken that discursive, narrative and poetic talent that everyone possesses. For this 31st edition, we bring you the French painter Georges-Pierre Seurat.

This outstanding artist was born on December 2, 1859 in Paris. He is considered one of the founders of Neo-Impressionism.

From an early age he showed an inclination towards painting. For this reason, from the hand of a maternal uncle, he entered the municipal drawing night school in 1875.

Between 1878 and 1879 he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris.

On one occasion he applied for one of his works for the Paris salon, which was rejected. This motivated him to ally himself with the independent artists of Paris.

Seurat was a tireless investigator of color and of art in general. This motivated him to work with the pointillism technique and to be one of its greatest representatives.

At the age of 31, he died on March 29, 1891, in Paris.

Below we will present three of his works so that you can choose the one that most motivates you to write. The first is called: "Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" (1886), the second, "The Models" (1888) and the third " The Circus" (1891)
