According to you, what are the major reasons behind the growing Inflation rate, specifically in your country?

In my own opinion the major reason behind the growing inflation is the increase in the price of petroleum which is majorly known by Nigerians as fuel, the increase in this causes transportation of goods and services to not be able to reach its final consumers, causing the act of production not to be complete.
Examples are,

• Population in a Country
• when Demand exceeds Supply

Another fact that can cause the growth of inflation in my country is the lack of tools for farmers to produce crops and livestock stocks to manage the ever-increasing population of My Country.

My country at the moment is being affected by inflation the political instability ever almost all the previous presidents of my country have had the same perspective of embezzling government funds /public funds.

Do you think that the increasing Inflation rates affect all the classes and fields of life?

I think it does not affect the rich individuals but only the poor individuals because those who are rich and in power Will embezzle more than the actual amount of money this inflation rate Will make them increase their formal rate of embezzlement.

It affects the poor masses in such a way that it becomes hard for them to feed, inflation is affecting the poor masses in the way that not most of them are salary earners, there are also farmers.

Another thing that inflation causes in my country is the high increase in the cost of taxes by the government that are been paid by their ruled individuals.

As a common citizen, how can we play our part to control Inflation?

We can help control individuals by obeying the rules set by government agencies and also try to make a peaceful protest against the increase in the price of goods and services.
Another way of reducing inflation as a citizen is to try to send our kids to school to individuals who are educated to reduce the high rate of inflation.

Ways to control inflation
Examples are,

• Subsistence farming
• Monetary policy
• Increasing taxes
