This tea garden is on the banks of Karnaphuli river. But not new either, rather one of the oldest tea gardens in Bangladesh, some say the first tea garden. So it was great to see. So I went there, actually going there, mesmerizing environment, listening to people's mouths, more than that, a place, and now I am describing it!! চট্টগ্রামে যে একটা বিশাল চা বাগান আছে এটা হয়ত আমরা অনেকেই জানিনা। কর্ণফুলী নদীর তীরে এই চা বাগানটি। কিন্তু নতুনও নয়, বরং বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে পুরাতন চা বাগান গুলোর একটা, কেউ কেউ বলে প্রথম চা বাগান এটা। তাই দেখার খুব ইচ্চে ছিল। তাই চলে গেলাম সেখানে, আসলে সেখানে গিয়েভমন মুগ্ধ কর পরিবেশ মানুষের মুখ থেকে শোনা যা তার চেয়ে বেশি মন মুখদদ্ধ কর একটা যায়গা, আর এখন আমি এটা ববর্ণনা করছি!!

Kodala tea garden is situated on the banks of Karnaphuli river in Rangunia of Chittagong. The British took the initiative to plant tea plantations in Kodala while passing through Karnaphuli river. The garden was started in 1894. After independence in 1971, in 1976, the then government leased the tea gardens to private ownership. Among them, Platus Bangladesh has been managing the Kodala tea plantation for a long time. Many people have leased this tea garden but no one can see the profit so later there is no BRAC this tea garden, while others do not see the profit Kodala tea garden under the guidance of BRAC has gained a reputation for producing high quality tea.

কোদালা চা বাগান চট্টগ্রামের রাঙ্গুনিয়ায় কর্ণফুলী নদীর তীরে অবস্থীত।ব্রিটিশরা কর্ণফুলী নদী দিয়ে আসা-যাওয়ার সময় কোদালায় বিস্তীর্ণ জায়গা দেখে চা বাগান করার উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করে। সেই ১৮৯৪ সালে বাগানটি শুরু হয়। ১৯৭১ সালে স্বাধীনতা-পরবর্তী ১৯৭৬ সালে তৎকালীন সরকার ব্যক্তি মালিকানায় লিজে চা বাগানগুলো ছেড়ে দেয়। এর মধ্যে প্ল্যাটাস বাংলাদেশ দীর্ঘদিন ধরে কোদালা চা বাগান পরিচালনা করে আসছে। অনেকেরা এই চা বাগান লিজ নিয়েছে কিন্তু কেঊ লাভের মুখ দেখতে পাই নাই তাই পরবর্তীতে ব্রাক নেই এই চা বাগান, অন্যরা লাভের মুখ না দেখলেও ব্র্যাক এর নির্দেশনায় কোদালা চা বাগান লাভের মুখ দেখে আর উন্নতমানের চা উৎপাদন করায় বর্তমানে সুনাম অর্জন করেছে।

When I stayed at this tea garden, Khelaam was collecting tea leaves from the tea garden and keeping them here.

আমি যখন এ চা বাগানে অবস্থান করলাম খেলাম চা বাগান থেকে চায়ের পাতা সংগ্রহ করে এখানে রাখছে পাতাগুলো দেখতে অনেক সুন্দর লাগছিল কারণ এই পাতা দিয়ে তা তৈরি হয়।

After wandering around the tea garden for some time, I went to the manager and talked to the manager and got to know about the tea garden.

আমি কিছু সময় চা বাগানে ঘোরাঘরের পরে চলে গেলাম ম্যানেজারের কাছে ম্যানেজারের কাছে গিয়ে কিছু কথা বললাম চা বাগান সম্পর্কে জানতে পারলাম।

After a while, I went to the tea making place where I give the pick, they put the tea leaves in the whole place, they dry the leaves here and they take them through the machine.

কিছুক্ষণ পরে চলে গেলাম টা তৈরি করার স্থানে আমি যে স্থানের পিক টা দিচ্ছি এখানে সম্পূর্ণ জায়গায় চায়ের পাতা রাখে সে পাতাগুলো এখানে শুকায় শুখিয়ে তারা মেশিনের মধ্য নিয়ে যায়।

The machines that are seen in the picture are making tea by crushing the dry tea, and the tea is made in packets and reaches all over Bangladesh through these machines.
ছবিতে যে মেশিন গুলো দেখা যাচ্ছে সে মেশিন করার মধ্য শুকনো চায়ের সেগুলা মাড়াই করে চা তৈরি হচ্ছে দেখা যাচ্ছে শুনছি আর সেই গোলা প্যাকেট করে বাংলাদেশের আনাচে-কানাচে পৌঁছে যায় এই মেশিন গুলার মাধ্যমেই তৈরি হয় চা।

And here are the pictures that are shown, it is a godown. In this godown, different pesticides are stored for tea plants. To control the disease, if anything, these pesticides are used. These people work here to control harmful insects using pesticides. 12 Besides, there is a hospital here. When the workers in the hospital are sick, doctors provide services. I went to those doctors with my products and said that we need low-cost medicines. We don't want to kill the patients. He was very happy with my products and told him that my trip today was very good.
আর এই যে যে ছবিগুলো দেখা যাচ্ছে এটা হল গোডাউন এই গোডাউনের মধ্য চা গাছের বিভিন্ন কীটনাশক সংরক্ষণ করে রাখা হয় কোন রোগ দমন করার জন্য চা গেছে যদি কিছু হয় তাহলে এই কীটনাশকগুলো ব্যবহার করা হয় কীটনাশকগুলা ব্যবহার করে ক্ষতিকর পোকা দমন করা এই মানুষগুলা এখানে কাজ করে ১২ ঘন্টা তাছাড়া এখানে একটা হসপিটাল আছে হসপিটালে শ্রমিকরা যখন অসুস্থ হয় ডক্টর সেবা প্রদান করে সেই উদ্দেশ্যে সেসব ডক্টরের কাছে গিয়েছিলাম আমার প্রোডাক্টগুলো নিয়ে বলল আমাদের কম টাকার ওষুধ গুলো লাগবে আমরা রোগীকে মারতেও চায়না মাঝামাঝি পর্যন্ত রাখতে চাই তাই যে আমাদের অফারে আছে সেইগুলা তাদেরকে প্রোভাইড করলাম এবং তারা খুব খুশি হল একে আমার প্রোডাক্ট গুলা আর কথা বলল ওকে আজকের আমার ভ্রমণটা খুবই ভালো লাগলো আপনারা পারলে এই কোদালা চা বাগানে এসে ভ্রমণ করে যাইয়েন
