Dengue death march is getting longer every day. This year, a record 9 people died of dengue fever in 24 hours. It is the highest this year. So far this year, 161 people have died of dengue fever. A record number of 882 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of patients admitted to various hospitals across the country stands at 3,676. This year, 40 thousand 983 dengue patients have received treatment across the country. Among them, 27 thousand 646 patients are in the capital Dhaka and 13 thousand 337 patients are outside Dhaka. In October, 21 thousand 932 people were infected and 86 people died.

This information has been informed in the regular dengue report of the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health regarding the situation in the whole country today. According to the report, out of 882 people who were admitted to hospital due to dengue in the last 24 hours, 498 are residents of Dhaka and 384 are outside Dhaka.
According to the notification, the total number of dengue patients currently admitted in various public and private hospitals of the country has reached 3 thousand 676, including 882 new patients. 2 thousand 276 people are admitted in various government and private hospitals in Dhaka and 1 thousand 400 people outside Dhaka. It also said that from January 1st to November 3rd of this year, a total of 40,983 patients were admitted to the hospital. Among them, 37 thousand 146 people were cured and left the hospital. 161 people have died of dengue so far this year.
