Mushrooms under the snow in January
Over the past 2 years I have not been sitting still. And you can’t sit in the village. Every day I suffer from something. On the 22nd I was near the forest belt (landing). By the way, it's at the end of my garden. I saw several fallen branches. I decided to come closer. He walked and looked at his feet. I saw mushrooms on one of the stumps. It was the so-called winter honey fungus. I immediately took out my phone.
Mushrooms under the snow
I only saw a few of them. He threw the snow aside and picked the mushrooms. I looked around. There was no more. But the very fact that there are mushrooms in the forest made me think.
Came home. I remembered where there are several more similar stumps. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that this type of mushroom grows mainly on cherry, maple and walnut stumps. In any case, these tree species often become productive.
Picking mushrooms in January
Without thinking twice, I decided to go and inspect a few walnut stumps. When I saw mushroom caps protruding from under the snow, I was not surprised. I examined the stump in more detail. I removed the snow and chopped a quarter bucket of mushrooms.
I present to your attention photographs. If you are interested, you can watch the video that I posted on My Tik Tok account.
By the way, this morning was very beautiful. I'll show you the sunrise later. He amazed me. See you soon!
