CCS CONTEST | YOUR FAVORITE FESTIVAL

Greetings ma'am @pathanapsana and all the steemians across the world . It's indeed a pleasure for me to participate in this lovely contest about my favorite festival. Of course, as humans, we must have favorite festivals and I'm not an exception to that. So today I will be sharing my favorite festivals with you all.

My favorite festival is Christmas, on this day we celebrate the birth of our lord Jesus and it's usually celebrated at the end of the year which is December 25th. I love Christmas because at this time I will get to meet with my love once. People who I haven't seen for a long period I will see them during this time because we usually celebrate it as one big family so all my Aunties and other relations will travel back to the village so that we celebrate it today.

Christmas is celebrated on December 25th every year. At that time, the weather condition were calm even though it during harmattan season but it was one of the best moment for me, the atmosphere would change every were just glowing with all the beautiful decorations with charismatic trees. around the house and the state in general.

The celebration starts on the 24th of December which we call Charisma Eve. On this day we usually go to church and pray to our creator for sending his beloved son to earth just to die for our sins. After which there will be dancing and praising God for the through out the nights. On the 25th we still go to church service in the morning, after church, we hang out with family and friends. But before then we usually cook different varieties of food which we will eat together with our family.

After lunch we will then play our lodo family game, others will be playing watching movies, and a lot more. During the Christmas period, everyone used to be happy and the celebration was always memorable to everyone including myself. I wish it came every 😁

Ooh, my God, I love this question 😁 this is one of the interesting parts of charisma festivals because one will eat plenty of food, fruits, chops, and drinks of different kinds. After all, every home celebrating Christmas does cook a nice meal. In my house my mum usually buys 10 chicken with plenty of beef meat which will be cooked on that day and some of my uncles will buy drinks. We mostly cook Nigerian jellof rice which is one of the best meals in my country. And everyone likes yummy jellof rice and Chicken mixed with salad.

In conclusion, the Charisma Festival is my best and it will always be my favorite festival among others because it comes once a year and the celebration used to be powerful and enjoyable. Having fun with love once is one of the best things I enjoy the most so during this season everyone will be at home for the festival.
