Derksen Cabin Delivery: Shed-to-Home
We bought a new homestead a few months ago and had offered my in-laws the opportunity to build on our property as a retirement home. This way we would be close by to care for them and they would have the opportunity to retire. They took us up on the offer and purchased a Derksen Cabin to convert to a home. It was delivered this week, along with a small Derksen shed for storage, and I am so excited to show it to you!
I plan to document more as we work on finishing it off for them. The goal is to have it all set up with water, electric, septic, and finished off in about a year. And their goal is to be debt free at that point in time and be able to enjoy retirement.
