A short story about my journey while climbing the mountain

Before I start talking about the mountain I climbed, it would be nice if I introduce the mountain I climbed. Geographically, Mount Burni Telong is located in Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh Province. The distance between the foot of the mountain from Simpang Tiga Redelong is approximately 16 kilometers which can be reached by traveling for 30 minutes. This point is located in Bandar Lampahan, Rembune Village which is a favorite starting point for hiking.

Not only local climbers, Mount Burni Telong is also the target of climbers from outside the city such as Takengon, Lhokseumawe, Bireuen, Medan and also Banda Aceh. There are several routes that tourists can choose, the first is the route through Bandar Lampahan and the Pante Raya route. However, climbers prefer to use the Bandar Lampahan route because the distance is closer than the Pante Raya route.

In Rembune Village, a climbing post for Mount Burni Telong has been built which is managed by the local community. Climbers are required to provide identity and pay a retribution fee of IDR 20,000 and two-wheeled parking IDR 15,000 for each person. From this post, the distance to the foot of the mountain is only about 3 kilometers.

There are several things that you will get if you climb "Burni Telong".

• Natural beauty while hiking with coffee garden treats before shaking 1
• Cool temperatures that will pamper you in shalter 3
• Obviously the photos you get will be very, very good
• The sun rises on the top of the mountain in the morning
• The sun sets if you hike in the afternoon to the top

Yaps as you can see I am wearing a very large bag which is usually called a carrier, I use this big bag to be able to load quite a lot of items such as tents, logistics, jackets and other equipment.

My advice for those who want to climb this mountain

• If you want to see the blooming of edelweiss flowers, come during the dry season.
• If you have never hiked before, you must use a guide.
• Bring warm clothes, because the cold mountain air.
• We recommend that you carry a first aid kit when climbing.
• Bring enough items, so as not to become a burden when climbing.
• Stay careful and vigilant, because the terrain is steep and quite extreme.
• Do not damage or pick edelweiss flowers.
• Maintain the cleanliness and preservation of Mount Burni Telong.
• Pray before climbing, in order to be given safety in climbing.
