How are you all doing? Trust our day is going fine? My day went quite well. I will love to appreciate @steempreneurship for this contest opportunity which gives us the chance to do a business review of our city. I choose my mum’s business so that I can project her to the steemit community.
Meet me Mum, an entrepreneur who is a clothes trader. She deals in Adire clothing.

Adire is a local form of clothing which involves the use of painting and dye to project African art. The history of Adire majorly hails from Abeokuta where my mum buys from in bulk. She also knows how to make Adire but she cannot make in bulk so she orders from Asero in Abeokuta Ogun State. There are different ways they use in making Adire and each methods has there own name which we will be discussing subsequently.
My mum learnt this form of business 1994 and began the 2000 but began selling in bulk in 2012.

Methods of Adire Clothing

1. Tye and Dye

Here they make use of ropes or fishing line to make patterns on clothes before dyeing. There is arc pattern, circle pattern, oval pattern, straight lines, or you could be more creative.

Combination of Tye and Marble

1. Marble

This method forms when the amount of cloth to be use is squeezed or rumble while the dye is pour over the cloth surface. This method does not involve immersion unlike Tye and dye.

1. Printing

This is the use of Campala paint to make patterns on cloth. This involves the use of Form to make drawings like Drums, African map or any other creative art. Also they use broom to sprinkle on clothes to form sprinkles.

This follows the same pattern as painting but the difference is that was is use while drawing the designs.
