I currently own this store, which I purchased five years ago. At the time, the store was struggling, and the previous owner was unable to pay the rent. I decided to jump into the dry fruits business. In our country.
This business is particularly successful because Asian people love dry fruits, as far as I know. The reason I bought this store was that I wanted to invest, and this seemed like the best opportunity available at the time.
Discovery and Decision
I discovered that this store was failing, but the dry fruit business is very successful in our country. I noticed that the owner of the store was a bit rude; he didn't take care of his customers and would often yell at them.
When he decided to sell the store, I saw an opportunity. After buying it, I advertised my new ownership of the store. I also have a grocery store, so when my customers visited, they noticed the banner of the new dry fruit shop.
That's when I realized the idea was working. I made the decision to invest more in this business because it has a lot of potential in our country.
Challenges
One of the toughest challenges I faced was dealing with dry fruits losing their original taste, especially when they were a bit old. To address this issue and improve the overall experience for my customers, I decided to expand the size of the store.
I purchased the left one shop and merged it with the original one, creating a larger space.
I believed that a bigger shop would not only enhance the reputation of the store but also provide better organization and display of the products.
By overcoming this challenge and expanding the shop, I aim to provide a better shopping environment and ensure the freshness of the dry fruits for my customers.
