Campus Connect Community Application for Community Support Program for the month of October 2021.
Introduction
We are happy and excited to present our community support application for the month of October. We are keen to extend our support until the end of October 2021, in order to help us to build a sustainable community. We are already on track and we believe this support program will help us achieve this.
We hope our application gets honored and we get to extend our support throughout the month of October.
Community Purpose
Campus Connect is originated as a community for the international student community. We believe that we can connect all college students around the whole world under a single platform here on the steemit blockchain. We will be sharing ideas, knowledge, and creativity, culture, and educational knowledge from around the globe.
Campus Connect is designed to interact with different students from universities around the world, campus connect will become home to thousands of students worldwide who are looking to interact and socialize with students from other parts of the world. They can share and post almost anything on campus as long as their content will appeal to and promote the steemit blockchain.
We also want to penetrate universities all over the world via steemit social feature as a tool to do that. We want to recruit serious-minded steemians from all over the world, this step will eventually serve as a means to introduce steemit to different universities worldwide. We aim to educate and support each member of campus connect in any way we can. Leveraging the numbers and activity of students worldwide, we can create a very powerful community for students.
How Unique is Campus Connect
Campus Connect is one of a kind community and actually the first of its kind to be created ever on the steemit blockchain. We are very different in our approach and aim to introduce college students to the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
We are dedicated to our goal and ready to do something no other community on steemit has ever done before. Promote campus connect in all the Universities across the world and maintain a sustainable community filled with young and great minds.

We believe our message as a community appeals to every single audience we are targeting, first campus connect community is more than just a community, it is a family of students and a big opportunity for newbies in the blockchain industry and old ones alike.
The idea of a pool of students all over the world isn't only intriguing but exciting for all whom we have shared and asked to join us. We see our community aim as the perfect to way to get as many people on campus to sign up on steemit since they will have a sense of belonging knowing they are interacting with fellow students on this new platform(Steemit).

Members of the Team are fluent English and Spanish speakers. We have Team members from Nigeria and Venezuela who also speak the native dialects of their region.
We have made some adjustments to our reward structure for moderators and the team working with us here on campus connect. All moderators are rewarded by submitting their posts to booming twice a week.
Members of the Team can make posts and vote posts with the curation account, the keys are shared and in possession of each moderator of campus connect Team.
Community Curation Account
We are dedicated to growing our steempower so we are able to support as many authors as possible. We have made significant improvements from last month's stats, more than a 60% increase. That's just spectacular considering the amount of support we received this month.

- We also growing our curation trail, currently we have more than 100 active followers placing us at the 10th spot on the list. We have a target of at least 1k active followers with at least 1k steempower. This will allow us to leverage on the compound effect to build our curation power.
Voting CSI
Plagiarism & Abuse
Campus Connect has Zero tolerance for plagiarism and we take a firm stand against it. The moderators and campus Team are careful and scan every post for plagiarism before voting and with this step, we have been able to maintain a plagiarism-free community.
On a few occasions, we have seen plagiarized posts and we firmly warn such members, as a result, we came up with an exclusive Team of Plagiarism moderators. Our Team has will immediately detach and squash plagiarism whenever it's detected.

Engagement & Commenting
We have also taken our engagement and commenting to a whole new level, in fact, every post in campus connect receives an average of 5 comments per post, this approach has been a tipping point in the retention of most newbies in campus connect. This way we have been able to retain more than 80% of the newbies that join our community.
The moderators also try their best to visit all the posts that are made in campus connect, scan for plagiarism and offer practical suggestions and corrections.

We have a simple and clear plan for the future, we have provided our roadmap and we are very close to reaching our goal for the last quarter of 2021.
We also provide regular weekly community updates to monitor our progress and how we can do better as a community.

We have taken steemit promotion to a new and unseen level on steemit. We were able to attend the conference at the University Of Uyo, campus connect was represented by @davosimple(Campus Captin) and his promotion Team on campus.
We are particular and strategic with our promotional activities, we have a lot of events planned in the coming months.
Anything Else
We have a flight of active projects aimed at educating and informing steemains in our community.
Campus Gist is an educational program for newbies and also an engagement platform for members of our community. We believe creating close and interactive sessions will help keep our community strong.
Through this project, we have been able to help more than 15 steemains join steemit crypto Academy Program.

We also have fun and eventful games on campus connect. Campus names is a social project aimed at exploring the talents and hobbies of campus connect subscribers and active members.
We have 4 games- Fiction Writing, Mediaworks, Art, and Music. We are currently in the final week of season 2 and the entries we have seen so far are just spectacular.
Conclusion
Campus connect is evolving into a home and foundation for students worldwide, we believe that with adequate support and patience, campus connect will touch the skies.
We are making huge progress and building our steempower to reach its full potential. We are grateful to all that supported us through this great time.
