Greetings! Steemians, I'm glad to participate in this week Campus Connect contest titled "Skilling up as a college student".

Many students believe that being a good student only means getting good grades on tests or exams without having the ability to learn beyond memorizing passages or books. For example, if you want to be a good football player, you should be able to dribble and pass the ball while also being a good team player. Similarly, if you want to be a good writer, you should be able to write and express yourself well. As a result, everything requires expertise and knowledge.

The majority of individuals agree that university is what you make it. However, it is much more than just academic experience, It is a period in which students evolve and develop themselves for the betterment of tomorrow.

Many graduate students are so focused on gaining information in their profession that they may overlook how critical it is to actively work on skills that will sustain them until they find their dream job. so the skill I wish to lean is web design but before I proceed I would like to define what web design is all about.

Web design is the process of planning and arranging content on a website so that it may be shared and accessible by people all over the world via the internet. Web design is a combination of aesthetic and functional components that influences how a website looks, including colors, fonts, and graphics, as well as how the site's structure and users interact with it.

Why did you choose web design

• The reason why I choose web design is because Have been a graphics designer for the past seven years and I see web design as an advance level of graphics design.
• Learning keeps your mind active and your body engaged. It aids you in gaining new and informed insights on the world around you. It allows you to expand your horizons, train your brain to deal with a variety of obstacles, and keep your neural networks active.
• When I graduate, I want to have a better opportunity in the job market. as well as to create a multiple-income stream
• The labor market is always changing, the economy is evolving, and technology advancements are sweeping the economy in all directions. Without continuing to study and exercising your professional muscles, achieving your job goals would be difficult. You won't be able to keep up with your opponents unless you learn something they don't.
  

In conclusion Expanding your education and skill set is more of a necessity than a choice these days. If you're not sure what to study or what learning possibilities are available to you, research into the topics that interest you. "What have I been interested in or enthusiastic about since I was a child?" If you can answer that question, you'll be able to figure out the study path you should choose. You'll also find that learning gives you a great deal of pleasure. Learning offers delight and happiness to everyone, regardless of age or professional status, whether it's for a pastime or a career.
