Hello Friend, how are you all doing?
Hope you all are good.

Today the Students Union Government 27th Parliament Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture umudike had their orientation sitting today.

Where so many guest were invited for the orientation sitting to speak to the Honorable members of the union and to enlighten them on what makes them the legislative arm of the union.

Our first guest speaker@Barrister Emmanuel Precious Azubuike.
Who spoke on so many areas that concerns the honorable members which he stated that an honorable member must disassociate himself with anything about embezzlement , bad Character and also your code of dressing.

After speaking another guest of ours the Clerk of past 23nd Parliament in the person of @UGOCHUKWU LAWRENCE who also came to enlighten the honorable members about how to pass or present a bill in the legislative arm of the Union.

Which he stated the stages of how to present this bills , which the bill is presented to the clerk of the to read to the house and after reading this bill the house will deliberate on this bill nd this bill is passed to the committee that is in charge of bills which they look into it and bring their resolution to the house after making so many corrections the bill is then returned to the house and it is past as a working document.

Hon. Osinachi Okeke the Deputy Speaker of 23rd Parliament another guest who came to grace the orientation sitting.

He spoke about the word "Honorable" which is actually deal with people,their actions and also need to be fair in way they dress , speak , their calmness and always ready to advocate for the Nigerian Students.

Further more he spoke about our ability to know our constitution very which is the fighting weapon of every honorable member which you can use to fight any battle in the Union and how to cite this constitution.

He moved on to speak more on how an honorable member could be of a helping hand in the student Community helping the less previleged in their charges and much more.

Finally the last guest speaker in this occasion was the past Rt.Hon. speaker of the 26th Parliament in the person of@Gedion Okezie.

Who spoke about the symbol of authority of the house which is the mace and also when this particular symbol of authority is not on ground the sitting is no longer a sitting rather a mare gathering.

Furthermore he spoke about togetherness of the principle officers and also enlightening them on how to work together with each other to achieve their goals in no time.

This was how I spent my day and once again am happy to hear from my fellow steemians today.
