Following the incident which happened today, Hon. Perpetual was rushed to the school clinic at the early hours of today.

On the report and thorough interrogation with the staff on duty, Her file shows that she had malaria and typhoid, as well as other patients admitted alongside with her.

As a result of the above named disease Condition caused by this protozoan, plasmodium spp the following symptoms were recorded;
temperature rise, vasoconstriction, loss of energy and shivering, loss of body extracellular fluids with ions, blood lysis.Some infusion was admnistered alongside with some IV admnistration and Drugs.
And Right now she is responding to treatment.

She will be discharged soon , alongside with other patients at the clinic as they are waiting for laboratory test which ought to be conducted except for failure in power supply in the clinic which had posed series of challenges to the laboratory technicians.

Thereby delaying some sample diagnosis, also them been slow in attending to students at emergency situations, inability to get drugs from there when prescribed to them by the school doctor and many more.

All these has actually posed a huge threat to the lives of the students of this great Citadel of learning and this incident that occured brought everything happening in this sector out.

Which we the student union government after here went in a dialogue with the school management to make sure that so many needs of the Nigerian Students of this great Citadel of learning is been met.

The Vice Chancellor spoke about so many things about the medical life of Nigerian Students on campus and how hard he has been working to make sure that all the equipments needed for the effective functioning of this medical center is been put in place.

After which he promised that our needs shall be met in no due time and finally thanked the students union government led [email protected]. CHUKWUMA OGOCHUKWU for making sure that the school environment is in peace and tranquility.

With the 27th Administration Of SUG MOUAU, A New Normal Is Possible ✊
