Shakib got a team in IPL

Young cricketer Shakib Hussain got a team in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan's team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has taken the Indian 19-year-old youngster for 20 lakh rupees.

This is known in a post on social media on Saturday. In that post, it is said that Shakib will give almost all of the Tk 2 million that he will get from the IPL to his family.

Young Shakib will spend some money only to buy cricket equipment and specific shoes for bowling.

19-year-old young talented cricketer Shakib Hussain was born in Gopalganj district of India. Shakib is currently preparing himself for week-long training sessions with other players at the KKR Academy in Mumbai.

The former captain of the Bangladesh team and the world's best all-rounder withdrew his name before the auction of the upcoming season of IPL. Shakib, who participated in the last national election and became a member of parliament, decided not to play in the IPL anymore.

In 2009, the former successful captain of the national team, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, became the first Bangladeshi to play in the IPL for Kolkata. Shakib played his first IPL for Kolkata in 2011. After playing the second consecutive season in 2012, he was in the Kolkata squad in 2013 but could not play a single match due to injury.

Kolkata released Shakib after four seasons from 2014 to 2017. He played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018 and 2019. The Bangladeshi all-rounder was not in the IPL in 2020 due to the ban.

He returned to Kolkata again in 2021. But could not perform as expected. In 2022 IPL, Liton was recruited by KKR for a base price of 50 lakh rupees. And Shahrukh Khan's team took Shakib in the team at a base price of 1 crore 5 million; But due to the busyness of the national team, Shakib could not go to play.
