The Diary Game: 02/13/2021 A Saturday of chores and home sharing - Un sábado de quehaceres y compartir en casa
¡Hola queridos amigos de #Steemit! Hoy me uno a esta iniciativa para contarles un poco de lo que ha sido mi día. Esto es lo que por lo general acostumbro a hacer los sábados cuando estoy en casa.
My day started with a cup of coffee at 7:00am. For me, drinking coffee is the perfect start to any day, it energizes me for everything I have planned for the day and is the best way to say good morning. With my cup of coffee in hand, I checked some social networks and got ready for breakfast.
Mi día comenzó con una taza de café a las 7:00am. Para mí, beber café es el inicio perfecto de cualquier día, da las energías necesarias para todo lo que tengo planeado en el día y es la mejor manera de dar los buenos días. Con mi taza de café en la mano, revisé algunas redes sociales y me preparé para desayunar.
I had breakfast with my family, with my mom, my dad and my aunt. It is something we usually do because during the week it is complicated since we have to go out to work and sometimes we can't do it together, so Saturday is a day to eat together and catch up on what happened in the week.
Today, I was planning to go shopping at a supermarket that is a little far away, I was planning to walk to and from the supermarket as it is a way to stay healthy, and today it was a little cloudy so the walk was more bearable.
Desayuné en familia junto a mi mamá, mi papá y mi tía. Es algo que solemos hacer pues en la semana es complicado porque tenemos que salir a trabajar y en ocasiones no podemos hacerlo juntos, así que el sábado es un día para comer juntos y actualizarnos de lo que sucedió en la semana.
En el día de hoy, tenía pensado ir a hacer unas compras a un supermercado que queda un poco alejado, planeaba ir y venir caminando pues es una manera de mantenerme saludable y el día de hoy estuvo un poco nublado por lo cual la caminata se hizo más llevadera.
My mom came with me, she also wanted to walk a little bit with me and asked me to stop by a pharmacy to buy some medicines she needed. Once that was done, we continued on our way to the supermarket.
Mi mamá me acompañó, también quería caminar un poco conmigo y me pidió antes pasar por una farmacia para comprar algunas medicinas que tenía pendiente. Una vez hecho esto, seguimos nuestro camino hacia el supermercado.
Once there we split up to make our stay a little faster, while one of us was waiting in line to pay, the other was looking for the products that we had on our list and that we needed at home. After buying what we needed, we started our return trip, making a few stops to rest because the weight of the things we had bought made the road a little more difficult.
Una vez ahí nos dividimos para hacer nuestra estadía un poco más rápida, mientras una hacía la fila para pagar, la otra buscaba los productos que teníamos en nuestra lista y que hacían falta en casa. Después de comprar lo necesario emprendimos nuestro viaje de regreso, haciendo algunas paradas para descansar pues el peso de las cosas que habíamos comprado, hacían un poco más difícil el camino.
We arrived home and proceeded to make lunch, my dad took care of it while my mom and I rested a little from our walk, then we took a bath. By that time, my brother and nephew arrived to spend the afternoon at home.
Llegamos a casa y procedimos a hacer el almuerzo, mi papá se encargó de hacerlo mientras mi mamá y yo descansábamos un poco de nuestra caminata y tomábamos un baño. Para ese momento, llegó mi hermano y mi sobrino de visita para pasar a tarde en casa.
After a nice lunch, we stayed at the table listening to some songs on the computer and enjoying a good cup of coffee. Then after my brother's visit, it was time for dinner, so I thought of making a vegetable dish for dinner and sharing it with the family.
Después de un rico almuerzo, nos quedamos en la mesa escuchando unas canciones a través de la computadora y disfrutando de una buena taza de café. Luego después de la visita de mi hermano, era ya la hora de la cena, por lo cual se me ocurrió hacer un plato de vegetales para la cena y compartir en familia.
Así transcurrió mi día, rodeada de familia, un preámbulo excelente para el día de mañana que es día del amor y la amistad.
