Locamente millonarios es una película del 2018, una comedia romántica que nos cuenta la vida de Rachel Chu una chica china que es profesora de economía en la universidad de Nueva York, Rachel Chu conocerá al amor de su vida en su lugar de trabajo, Nick Young, es cuál es un profesor de historia que la cautiva de manera casi instantánea, Rachel y Nick ya tienen tiempo saliendo cuando el mejor amigo de Nick, Collin los invita a su boda en Singapur, la cuidad natal de Nick. Lo que Rachel no se espera es que su vida cambie completamente cuando conozca a la excesiva y excéntrica familia Young, pues Nick Young el profesor que la cautiva no es nada menos que el hombre más codiciado de Singapur y debido a esto la mamá de Nick Young, Eleannor Young no le pondrá las cosas fáciles a Rachel, porque según su criterio ella es una “Falsa chica china” por haber nacido en China y mudarse a EU cuando estaba de meses, por lo tanto Eleannor Young se tomará la tarea de investigar a fondo la vida de Rachel y de esta manera comprobarle a Nick que estar con una chica como Rachel perjudicaría a su familia de la manera más bochornosa que puede existir. ¿El amor de Rachel y Nick soportará el poder de Eleannor Young?

Está película es una comedia romántica increíble, yo de verdad le doy un 10/10, porque la escenografía, la ambientación, y la interpretación de los personajes es única y te engancha de forma casi inmediata, está película es la adaptación del la trilogía locamente millonarios escrita por Kevin Kwan de la cual espero pronto escribirles un post porque voy por el segundo libro y no deja de sorprenderme, desde ya les digo que los libros no se parecen a la película. Está película es autoconclusiva es decir no tiene secuelas ni nada por el estilo, yo desearía que las tuviera pero lastimosamente no hay, ya que gracias a la forma en la que adaptaron la película está tiene un buen cierre de historia.

This film is an incredible romantic comedy, I really give it a 10/10, because the set design, the setting, and the interpretation of the characters is unique and hooks you almost immediately, this film is the adaptation of the trilogy insanely Millionaires written by Kevin Kwan of which I hope to write a post soon because I am going through the second book and it never ceases to amaze me, from now on I tell you that the books do not resemble the movie. This film is self-concluding, that is, it does not have sequels or anything like that, I wish it had them but unfortunately there are not, because thanks to the way in which they adapted the film, it has a good story closure.

En mi opinión está película es increíble, los personajes son geniales, el personaje de Nick, Rachel, Amarinta, Collin, Astrid y Peik Ling son de mis favoritos y gracias a que ví primero la película ahora que leo los libros puedo imaginarme a cada personaje de manera perfecta.

Les contaré un poquito más intentaré no hacerles spoilers, la boda de Collin el amigo de Nick es una de mis escenas favoritas, porque en ese momento Nick se da cuenta que no quiere una relación pasajera con Rachel, él quiere una vida entera a su lado, es tan romántica esa escena que me hace llorar y más porque una de las canciones es de Elvis Presley: Can't Help Falling in Love y eso es hermoso.

I'll tell you a little more I'll try not to spoil you, Nick's friend Collin's wedding is one of my favorite scenes, because at that moment Nick realizes that he doesn't want a temporary relationship with Rachel, he wants a whole life by his side That scene is so romantic that it makes me cry and more because one of the songs is by Elvis Presley: Can't Help Falling in Love and that's beautiful.
