According to police and local sources, Delwar entered the house

A youth named Delwar Hossain (30) has been arrested by the police in the case of rape in Daganbhuyan of Feni. On Tuesday (February 7), Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Daganbhuna Police Station Hasan Imam confirmed this information.

The arrested is the son of Jasim Uddin Dulal of North Alipur area of Dulal Upazila. He is the General Secretary of Ward No. 5 Jubo League of Matubhuya Union of Upazila.

According to police and local sources, Delwar entered the house and raped the victim and recorded the video. He had been raping her for the last four years under the threat of spreading the video later.

Meanwhile, Delwar beat the victim housewife several times on various pretexts. The victim tried to keep the matter a secret even from her husband who came from abroad about two months ago. Later, she told the matter to the dignitaries of the area including her husband and UP Chairman.

The OC said that the housewife lodged a complaint at the police station on Sunday night. Delwar Hossain was arrested and sent to court
