The police have arrested three miscreants on the charge

The police have arrested three miscreants on the charge of sexually abusing a girl (15) in Daganbhuyan of Feni. On Thursday (24th June) they were arrested by conducting raids at various places.

Earlier on Wednesday (June 23) this incident happened in front of the local cheap market. The victim's mother lodged a complaint with the police on Thursday afternoon.

The victim girl is a class VIII student of a local madrasa.

The arrestees are - Aziz Fazilpur village of the upazila of the house of Newaz member Md. Jasim Uddin's son Imdadul Haque Miraj, Miraj Mahmud, Miraj Mahmud son of Rahim Uliah of Haji Jamaddar village of North Karimpur village and Johnny Chandra Dey son of Sukmal Chandra of Aziz Fazilpur village.

According to the complaint, the girl left the local cheap market with her brother Mahfuzal Haque Miraj on the evening of June 23. At that time, the miscreants impersonated the police and took her away and sexually assaulted her. Later, when people saw them coming, the miscreants left the girl behind.

Prath Pratim Dev, OC (Investigation) of Daganbhuana Police Station said that three accused were arrested soon after the case was registered. Efforts are on to arrest the rest.
