Good Day Steemians!

Today I would like to share with you the slabbing process and update to our house. Since I didn't go to carbon market to sell shrimps I am the one who will supervised my carpenters everyday. For this day, we are already in slabbing the floor for our second floor.

I am glad to share with you the fruit of the labor of my children in this platform. I am so blessed and proud of my children because they will share the money that they earned from this community. Aside from doing feeding program here in our neighborhood they also shared their earnings in the materials that are needed in constructing the house.

These sacks of cements at my back was their fruit of labor in blogging through the platform of steemit. When I received the money that they gave I immediately bought lot of sacks of cement because it will be used for second floor slabbing. A huge thanks to steemit for this opportunity that we had. It is a big help in continuing constructing our house.

This time, on the other side our house they are mixing cement as the preparation.

The installation of the steel deck. We used this materials because it is less in weight, cost saving, easy handling, Easy Installation of Shuttering Material and High in Strength.

Slabs made with steel decking have high structural strength compared to traditional concrete slabs. This creates a high strength-to-weight ratio which allows for a massive weight reduction. This proves to be much more beneficial for multi-storeyed buildings as it brings down the entire weight of the construction significantly which can allow for lower foundation sizes. Metal decking makes the slabs lightweight and reduces the amount of work or support props required for slab casting.

Next is the permanent structural formwork with top reinforcement in place and it is ready for concrete pour. Aside from that preparing the wires to be easy in connecting afterwards.

This time is pouring of the concrete. The slabbing really takes many hours. I think this is the hardest part because after slabbing you will wait for a days of week to really strengthen the floor.

That's it for today. Thank you so much for taking time reading my blog. God Bless.
