STEEM CRYPTO CHALLENGE MONTH #4: The Future of Cryptocurrency
There's much debate about cryptocurrencies’ future. Some argue that because cryptocurrencies' usage is limited to transactions, they're more vulnerable to collapse. Others reason that cryptocurrencies’ advantages far outweigh their shortcomings, and that its underlying technology is robust and has diverse usage. In the future, cryptocurrencies may change as they're customized to fit user preferences and various applications, but in general, they seem to be here to stay.
Predicting what will happen with cryptocurrency is not easy. But, what most investors want to know about is finding the right time to invest in cryptocurrencies. Well, is this the right time to invest in bitcoin? There are different opinions, and some have been skeptical. However, with bitcoin halving happening this year and bitcoin bouncing back to $10,000, it does not seem like you will get into a huge risk if you invest now.
An optimistic said that Coronavirus will send bitcoin price to $100,000 in 2020. Recently he spoke for The Keiser Report, the latest edition of his RT news magazine explaining that global panic will have a profound impact on Bitcoin uptake this year.
A number of economic analysts have predicted a big change in crypto is forthcoming as institutional money enters the market. Moreover, there is the possibility that crypto will be floated on the the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations which would further add credibility to blockchain and its uses as an alternative to conventional currencies.
Some investors believes that we are in a unique time of history because of a rare phenomenon that is about to hit the crypto market. He says there is a triggering event that is programmed into the actual code that powers bitcoin. And it will ignite a bull market in cryptocurrency. Something that we have not seen since 2017.
Coins Having the Brightest Future
Bitcoin has been the king of cryptocurrencies since the beginning. In many cases, it is used as a synonym for cryptocurrencies. We can surely say that bitcoin is here to stay and that it is not going anywhere. However, there are a lot of talks about what will be the best coins in the future? According to Yahoo, there are four cryptocurrencies to invest in 2020: Bitcoin, Etherium, NEO, and EOS.
Our Part In The Future Of Cryptocurrencies (NIGERIA)
Creation of awareness on cryptocurrency in other to build interest is a major ingredient to the future of cryptocurrency in Nigeria and the world at large. In Nigeria for instance, it is believed that only people between the ages of 18 – 40 have little knowledge and are interested in cryptocurrencies.
There is therefore need for cryptocurrency education in Nigeria and other part of the world. I am current undergoing an online course organized by Alison.com on cryptocurrency Regulations, Trading and the Future and i think everyone should do same. Attached here are screenshots:
Bitcoin itself dominates as the most used cryptocurrency in Nigeria with Ether still lagging behind. Despite this shaky first impression, the country has become very interested in Bitcoin, and began to see cryptocurrency as the future of finance in Nigeria.
In the next ten years, we can expect powerful cryptocurrencies to rule the Governments and manage the cash flow in the country. Cryptocurrency enthusiasts predict Government agencies will soon start adopting this Decentralized systems for their processes.
