What Is Huobi

Huobi is a cryptocurrency exchange that is based in the Seychelles. It has been around since 2013 which makes it a veteran in this world as cryptocurrency is still very new and 1 year is the equivalent of 10 in this space. It must have been weird running an exchange back then with the market so new and only so many coins out there. This also means that have survived through the bear markets and are still here now that cryptocurrency is becoming more mainstream.

Features

For starters the site has a wide range of languages that you can switch to. This makes it user-friendly for people around the world who can select the language they are the most versed in. There is an app for the program so you can download it for either android or Apple and bring the market with you as you go. Though I do not recommend making it a habit of checking your coin value every 5 minutes as that can drive you crazy. There is the top gainers for the day which is always a useful tool to have.

You have an exchange for a variety of coins to buy and sell. There are derivatives such as futures and options. There is also wealth management services such as savings and staking for people looking for more of a passive income.

All the big hitters are there that you would expect on an exchange of this volume such as Bitcoin and ethereum. There are lot of bitcoin and ethereum pairs you can trade between. This also includes steem which has BTC pairs as well as udst to give you options. It is always good to see lots of steem pairs and ways to exchange it.

The exchange does very well when it comes to volume and is currently sitting on number 2 of overall volume with almost 3 billion dollars of trades in 24 hours. That is lot of money in a short period of time. It is ranked third by rating on coinmarketcap and is easily one of the biggest exchanges in the world.

Huobi Token

There is also a coin but we will get more into that in another post. It is trading right now for around $4 and is number 31 on the top 100 list.

This is a large exchange with several features and years of experience. It is a good place for the steem coin and has a lot of other currencies to exchange there.
