INTRODUCTION

I have been wanting to tell you all about something for sometimes now but today God as given me the opportunity to write it out today and I hope you learn one or two things on it.
I shall be talking about Rhesus factor,
The Rh factor is one of the proteins on RBCs that helps identify if blood from two different persons is compatible when mixed — for example, blood from a mother and her infant at birth. During pregnancy, a mother's and her unborn child's Rh factor is routinely determined.
In many cases people do not know the implications of not recognising the Rh factor in the life of married couples. Generally speaking couples are supposed to make general check up of their health status before getting married and making babies.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW AS A COUPLE BEFORE MAKING CHILDREN /ABORTING PREGNANCY IN RELATIONSHIP
Since you already known your genotype before you got married. As a newly married couple you must take note of the blood group of your wife seriously even your own as husband because of the danger in it.
Many people are less concerned about all this health stuff which will in a way come back to hunt them and give them complications.

For the fact that you as the mother is Rh-negative does not cause miscarriage or pregnancy loss itself. Only those who have been sensitized are at risk. If you have the recommended RhoGAM doses during pregnancy, or after an unplanned pregnancy, pregnancy loss, or induced abortion, the risk is very low.
What I am saying here is that the mother blood group is very important in her first delivery if she is Rh-negative she must take it compulsorily if the father of the child she gave birth to carry the Rh positive and the newly born child carries that same Rh-positive then the mother is entitled to taking RhoGAM injection to protect the next possible pregnancy in the future. (Note: this may not affect every one because of strong antibiotics in individual body) but you cannot take it for granted.
THE DANGER OF UNMARRIED LADIES ABORTING THEIR FIRST PREGNANCY.
In many occasions ladies in their young age having boyfriends and having sex with each other by mistakes they call it get pregnant they will decide to abort the pregnancy if such a lady is Rh-negative and the man or guy who impregnated her is Rh positive and the child carry the blood of the man/guy in question and she doesn't know about RhoGAM injunction she is likely to have issue in her next child. This might be when she is married and she will continue to have miscarriage or infertility without her knowing it was what she did in the past that caused it.

That you are O-negative and you have made abortion before in the past now that you are married you don't want any complications, ask him what you need to know or prepare for as against this Rhesus factor before or after another pregnancy.
